A modern multi-core CPU (e.g., Intel i7 or equivalent), 16 GB of RAM, and sufficient SSD space for your documents and indexes.

Recommended for Best Performance

An Apple Silicon Mac (M1 and newer) or a PC with a dedicated graphics card usually gives you faster answers from the built-in local models.

After installation and activation, you can keep PrivateDocs AI completely offline. Only optional updates and license checks require a brief internet connection.
